The draft state budget for 2026 has been announced. The draft prévoit revenues of 38 billion 609 million manat, and expenditures of 41 billion 703.6 million manat.
Medianews.az reports that the expenditure directions are as follows:
defense and national security – 8.7 billion manat;
economic activity – 7.8 billion manat;
general government services – 5.5 billion manat;
education – 5 billion 15.8 million manat;
social protection and social security – 4.8 billion manat;
judiciary, law enforcement and prosecution – 3.3 billion manat;
health – 2 billion 24.3 million manat;
agriculture – 1.2 billion manat;
culture, arts, information, physical education, youth policy and other similar activities – 631.6 million manat;
environmental protection – 420.1 million manat;
housing and communal services – 334.4 million manat;
expenditures not attributed to main sectors – 1.7 billion manat.
