The issue regarding the transfer ban imposed on the "Neftçi" club has been clarified.
Medianews.az reports that in a statement given to Oxu.Az from the club, it was stated that the restriction appearing on FIFA's relevant portal was due to a technical delay.
It was noted that when the transfer payment is delayed, the FIFA system automatically places the club on the "red list" and a transfer ban is applied:
"This is a common issue encountered worldwide. The ban is automatically lifted once the main obligations are fulfilled."
The statement emphasized that the payment was made by the club:
"After the other party confirms the payment, the transfer ban will be lifted within a maximum of 3-5 days. There is no need for concern, we have no outstanding debt obligations. It was just that one payment was delayed due to technical issues, which has now been resolved. Our fans should not worry."
FIFA has imposed a transfer ban on "Neftçi."
