The show he put on in the "Fenerbahçe" match fired the general from his job

The F-16 and Sikorski UH-60 helicopters flying over the stadium during the "Konyaspor" – "Fenerbahçe" match have become a topic of discussion.

Medianews.az reports that the incident took place on April 21. Specifically, during the game in which "Konyaspor" defeated "Fenerbahçe," the F-16 and Sikorski UH-60 flying over the stadium in the first half drew attention.

It was revealed that the flights were carried out by the order of Major General Mete Kuş, the commander of the Konya 3rd Main Jet Base and Garrison, which is known for its close ties with "Konyaspor." This was met with dissatisfaction within the Turkish Armed Forces.

Following the incident, Major General Mete Kuş was assigned to a different position. He was removed from his position as commander of the 3rd Main Jet Base and Garrison in Konya and appointed to the Air Force Command Headquarters.

This appointment was interpreted within the Turkish Armed Forces as a "demotion." //Bakues.az
