In the first four months of this year, 11,422 marriages and 6,443 divorces were registered by the district (city) registration offices of the Ministry of Justice.
Medianews.az reports that the State Statistics Committee (SSC) provided this information.
"Compared to the corresponding period of 2025, the number of marriages per 1,000 people has decreased from 4.4 to 3.4, and the number of divorces from 2.0 to 1.9," the report stated.
