In October, a 3.7 percent price increase was recorded in Armenia's consumer market compared to the same month of 2024.
Medianews.az reports that the Statistics Committee indicates a price increase of 8.3 percent in the education sector, 6.8 percent in alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, 5.6 percent in food and non-alcoholic beverages, 4.9 percent in transportation, 3.5 percent in the healthcare sector, 2.4 percent in leisure and cultural services, 2.1 percent in public catering and hotel services, 0.9 percent in household appliances, 0.7 percent in communication, and 0.6 percent in communal services.
According to the report, clothing and footwear became 0.9 percent cheaper over the year.
