Armenian Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan shared the results of a survey conducted by the International Republican Institute (IRI) based in the United States, which took place from February 3 to 13, on his "Facebook" page.
Publika.az reports that after the question "If parliamentary elections were held, which political party or bloc would you vote for?" the survey also asked, "Which countries are Armenia's most important political partners?" The respondents' answers to this question were as follows:
Russia - 43%
USA - 42%
Iran - 34%
EU - 29%
France - 29%
China - 21%
Georgia - 18%
India - 4%.
The last question posed in the survey attracted more attention. In response to the question, "Which countries pose the greatest threat to Armenia?" respondents ranked Azerbaijan first. Following the top three were Turkey and Russia.
Azerbaijan - 80%
Turkey - 69%
Russia - 29%
USA - 10%
Georgia - 6%
Israel - 4%
EU - 3%
Iran - 3%.
After the last question, it can be concluded that Armenia is now acknowledging Azerbaijan's power in the region. On the other hand, they seem to forget Azerbaijan's recent efforts to supply them with essential goods and its humanitarianism.
