For years, when asked about the "most attractive profession," the first to come to mind were CEOs, pilots, or doctors. However, the trends of the new era and women's expectations have completely changed. Now, at the top of the list stands a completely different field that was once considered "hard and exhausting": Farming and Agriculture.
According to the results of an international survey reported by Milli.Az, women now find men who are closely connected to nature, require physical strength, and are "producers" more attractive. The sterile office life of CEOs and the high-stress level have begun to lose their charm.
Experts relate women's choice to several factors:
Naturalness and Sincerity: For people tired of the artificial pace of city life, those who work the land and grow their own food appear more "real" and trustworthy.
Endurance: Farming requires both physical strength and mental endurance. This strengthens the image of a "protector and provider" from an evolutionary perspective.
Ecological Awareness: Interest in healthy living and ecological products has increased the prestige of this profession.
Previously, CEOs, who were symbols of power and money, are now associated with "constant busyness," "not having time for family," and "digital addiction." Women prefer partners with whom they can build more emotional connections and live less stressful lifestyles.
Among the other professions rising in the list after farming are engineers, creative artists, and chefs. Classic "suit-wearing" professions have started to distance themselves from the top five.
