In January-April, Azerbaijan produced a total gross domestic product worth 39 billion 875.1 million manats, which is 0.2 percent more compared to the same period of 2025.
According to Medianews.az, the report released by the State Statistics Committee states that there was a 0.9 percent decrease in the oil and gas sector and a 0.7 percent increase in the non-oil/gas sector.
An increase of 2.6 percent in investment and 0.3 percent in industrial production is shown.
According to another official statement, in the retail trade network, food products, beverages, and tobacco products worth 11.2 billion manats and non-food products worth 8.9 billion manats were sold; 50.6 percent of the funds spent on purchased goods went to food products, and 5 percent to beverages and tobacco products.
It is reported that consumer prices increased by 5.6 percent compared to January-April 2025, with food products, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products rising by 6.7 percent, non-food products by 3.7 percent, and paid services by 5.7 percent.
