The end of the road seems to have come for the "Jasmine" series, which has long been under the control of RTÜK and has remained in the agenda due to its unethical scenes.
Milli.Az reports that RTÜK has repeatedly fined the platform for unethical elements in the series and scenes contrary to broadcasting principles.
"Jasmine" has a plot full of dramatic and psychological tension.
The main character Yasemin is fighting a deadly heart disease and racing against time to get on the organ transplant waiting list.
At the center of the story are Yasemin's stepbrother Tufan's boundless feelings for her that increasingly turn into addiction. It was precisely this network of relationships and bold scenes that made the series the target of criticism.
The lead roles of the series were played by actors Asena Keskinci and Burak Can Aras.
