The information spread on social networks and internet information resources about the increase in the price and shortage of food-grade wheat and bread in Azerbaijan does not reflect the truth.
Medianews.az reports citing "Report" that this was stated by the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President.
According to the information, the agency conducts regular monitoring of the flour and flour products market and constantly keeps the price dynamics of strategic food products included in the consumer basket under close observation.
"Citizens are advised to trust only official sources and be cautious regarding unverified information spread on social networks," the agency said.
