Czech Republic has offered Azerbaijan a new military training aircraft "L-39NG".
Medianews.az reports that Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš said this in a statement to the press with President Ilham Aliyev in Qabala.
The Prime Minister noted that if Azerbaijan evaluates this, the Czech side would be very pleased:
"The company 'Aero Vodochody' provides de-facto maintenance and repair services for the outdated 'L-39' aircraft. Of course, we offer you the new 'L-39NG' aircraft and would be very pleased if you consider it."
A. Babiš recalled that the "Colt" company is, in the true sense of the word, an important international company and supplies excellent products to the whole world:
"We are glad that your police and other forces already recognize those products."
He stated that representatives of the most important Czech companies came on the visit and altogether 50 companies were represented in the delegation:
"Of course, we have a great interest in signing an agreement with the Baku Metro. 'ŠKODA Transportation' is part of our country's perhaps largest economic group 'PPF Group.' This group, along with other companies, is ready to establish a joint venture, start production in Azerbaijan, invest in science and research, cooperate with your universities, and naturally work with your people."
