"We have not celebrated the Novruz holiday for 15 years. My father passed away on the 20th, and we buried him on the 21st. Therefore, Novruz is difficult for me, I do not rejoice."
These words were said by singer Yegana Murselova on the "Khazar Evening" program.
She stated that her father's death seriously affected her attitude towards the Novruz holiday:
"Many years have passed since then. May God grant health to all mothers. My mother lives with me. I call my own home my mother's hearth. During Novruz, my elder sister, brother, all of them used to gather at my house.
After years passed, my mother said that this is not a good thing. We deprive the children of the holiday. After my father passed away, my brother and I got married. Sons came to the house. My mother said that God knows best. He takes one, gives another." (axsam.az)
