There was a scandal in the MOIK – “Sabail” match held in the 15th round of the Azerbaijan First League.
“Qafqazinfo” reports that when “Sabail” head coach Adil Shukurov attempted to substitute captain Yusif Nabiyev in the 60th minute, the player refused to leave the field.
He informed the coach that he would continue playing. The match referee, seeing that the player had not left the field, continued the game.
It should be noted that MOIK defeated “Sabail” 1-0.
