GDP in Azerbaijan: first month, previous years

In January, a total of 9 billion 78.7 million manat worth of GDP was produced in Azerbaijan, which is 1.7 percent more compared to the first month of 2025. The report published by the State Statistics Committee indicates a 0.6 percent growth in the oil and gas sector and a 2.3 percent increase in the non-oil/non-gas sector, showing a per capita GDP of 884.5 manat.

Medianews.az reports that in 1996, GDP in the country grew by 1.3 percent, in 1997 by 5.8 percent, in 1998 by 10 percent, in 1999 by 7.4 percent, in 2000 by 11.1 percent, in 2001 by 9.9 percent, in 2002 by 10.6 percent, in 2003 by 11.2 percent, in 2004 by 10.2 percent, in 2005 by 26.4 percent, in 2006 by 34.5 percent, in 2007 by 25 percent, in 2008 by 10.8 percent, in 2009 by 9.3 percent, and in 2010 by 5 percent.

In 2011, it was 0.1 percent, in 2012 2.2 percent, in 2013 5.8 percent, in 2014 2.8 percent, in 2015 1.1 percent, in 2017 0.2 percent, in 2018 1.5 percent, in 2019 2.5 percent, in 2021 5.6 percent, in 2022 4.6 percent, in 2023 1.1 percent, in 2024 4.1 percent, and in 2025 1.4 percent growth.

In 1995, there was an 11.8 percent decline, in 2016 a 3.1 percent decrease, and in 2020 a 4.2 percent reduction was recorded.
