Today, starting from 15:00, the admission of students to the first grades of general education institutions for the 2026-2027 academic year begins.
Medianews.az reports, referring to the State Agency for Preschool and General Education, that the admission process will be conducted through the portal www.mektebeqebul.edu.az.
The electronic admission of children to the first grade covers all general education institutions in the cities and districts of the country. It is mandatory to have the children’s identity card during registration. Admission to the first grade will continue until June 5 at 11:00.
It should be noted that this year, nearly 81,000 children from the Azerbaijan section were automatically transferred from the preschool preparation group to the first grade.
