Today, the first stage of the residency admission exam (the knowledge assessment exam on basic subjects, first attempt) will be held by the State Examination Center (SEC).
Medianews.az reports that out of 1702 candidates participating in the exam, 1308 will take the exam in the Azerbaijani section and 394 in the Russian section.
Among the applicants, 700 are male and 1002 are female. 301 graduated this year, 760 are graduates of previous years. 641 are students who will graduate in the coming years. 21 are foreign nationals.
The exam will be held in Baku and Nakhchivan cities.
The exam starts at 10:00 and will last 2 hours and 30 minutes. The admission regime ends at 09:45, 15 minutes before the exam starts. Participants arriving thereafter will not be allowed into the exam building.
Candidates participating in the exam must access the SEC's website and print the "Admission Ticket." Along with the admission ticket, they are also provided with the "Candidate's Memory Booklet," where important recommendations regarding the exam process, rules to be followed, and other necessary information are conveyed.
Candidates must bring the following documents to the exam:
- The original identity document;
- The "Admission Ticket."
The candidate must arrive at the exam building at the time indicated on the admission ticket. It is prohibited to bring mobile phones and other communication devices, electronic devices, calculators, electronic data carriers, books, notebooks, journals, notes, information booklets, dictionaries, tables, bags, and other aids to the exam building. Participants are kindly asked not to bring extra items to the exam building. All these hinder the efficient organization of the admission regime and its timely completion.
For the conduct of exams, a total of 7 exam buildings, 19 exam supervisors, 7 chief exam supervisors, 152 invigilators, 19 admission regime staff (security), and 7 building representatives have been assigned.
