Today, a very heavy blow will be dealt to Iran - Trump

Today, a very heavy blow will be inflicted on Iran.

Medianews.az reports, citing Trend, that US President Donald Trump wrote about this on his "Truth Social" account.

He stated that due to Iran's bad behavior, the complete destruction of areas that have not been targeted so far and the death of groups of people are being seriously considered.

"Iran, which is in a bad state, has apologized to its neighbors in the Middle East and has already promised not to fire at them anymore. This promise has only been made because of the ruthless attack by the US and Israel," the US leader added.

According to Trump, Iran wants to take over and control the Middle East:

"For the first time in millennia, Iran is losing to the surrounding Middle Eastern countries. Iran is no longer the dominant force in the Middle East; on the contrary, it is defeated and will remain so for decades until it surrenders or, more likely, completely collapses."

Recall that after the second round of nuclear talks between Washington and Tehran on February 17 ended without progress, the US increased its presence in areas close to Iran, deploying over 150 aircraft to bases in Europe and the Middle East.

Note that on February 26, the third round of talks between Iran and the US on Iran's nuclear program took place in Geneva. The meeting, held under the Donald Trump administration, was considered the last chance for resolving the situation diplomatically. No specific agreements were reached during the talks. Tehran refused to stop uranium enrichment, dismantle nuclear facilities, and apply indefinite restrictions on the development of the nuclear program. On the morning of February 28, Israel and the US began military air strikes against Iran.

In the military air strikes carried out by Israel and the US on February 28, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and members of his family died.

At the same time, during the military air strikes, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Army, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (SEPAH) Mohammad Pakpour, the advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader and Secretary of the Defense Council Ali Shamkhani, and Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh were killed.
