The Chairman of the Sovereign Transition Council of Sudan, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan Abdelrahman Al-Burhan, has addressed a letter to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
According to “Qafqazinfo,” the letter states:
“Your Excellency,
We have followed with concern the news about the Azerbaijani territory being targeted by unmanned aerial vehicles from the Iranian territory, resulting in a violation of your airspace. This is a clear violation of the principles of international law and the rules of respect for the sovereignty of states.
On behalf of the leadership, government, and people of the Republic of Sudan, we express our full solidarity with the brotherly Republic of Azerbaijan and affirm our support for all the lawful steps you take to preserve your country's sovereignty, security, and stability.
We pray to Almighty God to protect the Republic of Azerbaijan and grant it security and stability.
We convey to Your Excellency our highest respect and esteem.”
