"Barcelona" and Spain national team midfielder Pedri is already thinking about life after his football career.

According to Publika.az, the 23-year-old star footballer, despite being in the rehabilitation process after a semitendinosus muscle injury, is actively building his financial future off the field.

According to information, Pedri has bought an old monastery building in his hometown of Tegueste (Tenerife) for 2.5 million euros. Built in 1943, the building belonged to the Assumptionist order for over 70 years. The deal was prepared last fall and formalized in 2023 through the company "Pedrineta SL," established by the footballer.

Pedri plans to renovate the complex and convert it into a village-style hotel. The project includes approximately 9,500 square meters of area, 33 rooms, 21 bathrooms, a library, a chapel, and a spacious pool area. Additionally, the area includes a modern building constructed in the traditional style typical of the Canary Islands.

The monastery is located near the Anaga nature park, one of the most picturesque regions of Tenerife island. It appears Pedri is confidently managing not only the center of the field but also his investment strategy.
