A report was received on the Ministry of Emergency Situations' “112” hotline about a fire breaking out in a multi-story residential building located on Ilham Hajiyev Street in the Binagadi district of the capital.
According to Medianews.az, following the report, forces from the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately deployed to the area.
Thanks to the prompt intervention of the firefighters, the fire that started in the electrical shaft of the sixteen-story residential building was extinguished in a short time without allowing it to spread, including to the apartments.
As a result of the fire, 51 meters of electrical cables along the building's shaft burned.
As part of safety measures, the building residents were evacuated.
There were no injuries.
The apartments and the residential building were protected from the fire.
