A report was received at the Ministry of Emergency Situations' "112" hotline about a fire that broke out in a building in the Zirə settlement in the Khazar district of the capital.
The Ministry informed Musavat.com that forces from the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately dispatched to the area in connection with the report.
Thanks to the prompt intervention of the firefighters, the fire that occurred in the wooden structure of the gazebo was extinguished in a short time without allowing it to spread to the nearby private residential house.
As a result of the fire, the gazebo with a total area of 10 sq.m. and the wooden structures of the roof covering of the nearby private residential house burned over an area of 10 sq.m.
The private residential house was protected from the fire.
