On April 16, the price of a barrel of Azerbaijan oil branded "AzeriLight" fell to $113.01. The day before, "AzeriLight" was sold for $118.56.
The price of oil is sharply fluctuating due to obstacles in production and transportation during the wave of military operations conducted by the US and Israel against Iran from February 28 to April 8.
Medianews.az reports that in Azerbaijan's 2026 budget, a barrel of oil is estimated at $65; "AzeriLight" started January at $65.71, February at $69.72, March at $79.60, and April at $132.35.
