On March 18, a barrel of Azerbaijani oil branded "AzeriLight" is sold for $108.16. According to Medianews.az, this is $43.16 above the budget price.
In Azerbaijan's 2026 budget, one barrel of oil is taken at $65; "AzeriLight" started January at $65.71, February at $69.72, and March at $79.60.
The exporters' international coalition has set the daily crude oil production quota for Azerbaijan at 551 thousand barrels.
Oil prices are sharply rising amid the wave of military operations carried out by the US and Israel against Iran since February 28. Tensions have caused major disruptions to production and transportation in the oil-exporting countries of the Middle East.
