Money was stolen from the bank account of Azerbaijan's well-known radiologist Aydın Əliyev.
Medianews.az reports that Aydın Əliyev posted the following statement on his social media account regarding the incident:
“They stole 136 manats from my “Kapitalbank” card without my knowledge, permission, or notification. I called the hotline, they said some hacker from the Czech Republic did it. From now on, no online process can be trusted, I have blocked them all.
If some bank cannot protect its customers’ accounts, they shouldn’t falsely advertise and encourage people to use their accounts. They interfere with the bank accounts of hundreds of people, why don’t you insure your customers’ accounts? No one is trusted anymore! You are losing trust, and this leads you to failure. Even the pennies and small amounts that people have in their hands/accounts are taken away from them. Very unfortunate.”
