Medianews.az reports that the Earthquake Research Bureau of the Republican Seismological Service Center under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (AMEA) released this information.
According to the information, the underground tremors were recorded at 14:07 local time. The earthquake's epicenter was located at a depth of 5 kilometers.
It should be noted that seismic activity has been observed in the Caspian Sea in recent weeks. In April alone, 16 earthquakes were recorded in the Caspian Sea.
