The Central Bank of Azerbaijan offers 100 Turkish lira at 3 manat 91 qapik on the last working day of January.
Medianews.az reports that this is 4 qapik lower than the price at the beginning of the year.
Between 2021-2025, the official exchange rate of 100 lira has dropped from 22 manat 91 qapik to 3 manat 96 qapik, and 2026 started at 3 manat 95 qapik.
The euro, which started the year at 1.9859 manat, is being sold at 2.0272 manat on January 30.
The official exchange rate of the Georgian lari during the month increased from 0.6305 manat to 0.6322 manat, and the price of 100 Russian rubles rose from 2.1157 manat to 2.2385 manat.
The official exchange rate of the US dollar has been 1.7 manat since March 7, 2018.
Currency rates are regulated through auctions. The State Oil Fund sold 4.3 billion US dollars worth of currency in auctions held by the Central Bank in the first three quarters of 2025.
The analogous sales volumes were 4.9 billion in 2016, 3.6 billion in 2017, 6.5 billion in 2018, 6.6 billion in 2019, 7.3 billion in 2020, 6.7 billion in 2021, 4.7 billion in 2022, 2.7 billion in 2023, and 7.1 billion dollars in 2024.
