From May 1, the allowance for childcare up to the age of three will be assigned in an automated manner.
Medianews.az reports, referring to Trend, that the relevant decision will come into force from May 1, 2026.
Thus, when the insured person’s partially paid social leave order is created by the insurer in the "Labor and employment" subsystem, the allowance for childcare up to three years old will be assigned automatically in the amount determined by legislation.
For information, during this leave period, the person caring for the child is paid an allowance of 44 manat for childcare up to one and a half years old, and 28 manat for childcare from one and a half to three years old.
The allowance for childcare of a child up to three years old with a disability is given at twice the amount stipulated in the current legislation.
If the child dies before reaching the age of three, the payment of the allowance is stopped from the date of the child’s death, as well as if the insured person terminates the employment contract during the partially paid social leave period upon their own request or returns to work from the leave by their own wish, the allowance payment is stopped from the date of termination or return to work.
