GDP of Azerbaijan for two months and its history

According to the report of the State Statistical Committee, in January-February, 18 billion 473.1 million manats worth of gross domestic product (GDP) was produced in Azerbaijan, which is 0.3 percent more compared to the same period of 2025, with a 1.7 percent decrease in the oil and gas sector and a 1.4 percent increase in the non-oil/gas sector recorded.

Medianews.az reports that in 1996, the country's GDP increased by 1.3 percent, in 1997 by 5.8 percent, in 1998 by 10 percent, in 1999 by 7.4 percent, in 2000 by 11.1 percent, in 2001 by 9.9 percent, in 2002 by 10.6 percent, in 2003 by 11.2 percent, in 2004 by 10.2 percent, in 2005 by 26.4 percent, in 2006 by 34.5 percent, in 2007 by 25 percent, in 2008 by 10.8 percent, in 2009 by 9.3 percent, and in 2010 by 5 percent.

In 2011, it increased by 0.1 percent, in 2012 by 2.2 percent, in 2013 by 5.8 percent, in 2014 by 2.8 percent, in 2015 by 1.1 percent, in 2017 by 0.2 percent, in 2018 by 1.5 percent, in 2019 by 2.5 percent, in 2021 by 5.6 percent, in 2022 by 4.6 percent, in 2023 by 1.1 percent, in 2024 by 4.1 percent, and in 2025 by 1.4 percent.

A decrease of 11.8 percent was recorded in 1995, 3.1 percent in 2016, and 4.2 percent in 2020.
