A new phase has been defined in Azerbaijan regarding the issuance and replacement of identity cards and general citizen passports within the framework of digitizing state services.
Medianews.az, referring to Trend, reports that these services are planned to be implemented through the Electronic Government Information System (EGIS).
Thus, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, must determine the possible stages of digitization of services by June 1, prepare a conceptual document in this direction, and present it to the relevant authorities.
Also, by July 1, the digitization of the said services in accordance with the conceptual document will be ensured.
In addition, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, must ensure the launch of these services on the "mygov" platform by September 15.
