According to the report of the State Statistics Committee, as of December 1, 2025, the average monthly nominal salary of paid employees in Azerbaijan reached 1089.2 manats, an increase of 9.3 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
The minimum monthly wage in the country is 400 manats.
Medianews.az reports that pensions in Azerbaijan are indexed every year on January 1 in accordance with the annual growth rate of the average monthly salary.
Men retire at the age of 65, and women at 64 and a half. From July 1, 2026, the retirement age for women will also increase to 65.
The minimum amount of the labor pension is 320 manats.
