According to the official report, 11 million tons of oil along with condensate were produced in Azerbaijan in the first five months of 2026.

Medianews.az reports that in 2008, production was 44.5 million tons, in 2009 it was 50.4 million tons, in 2010 it was 50.8 million tons, in 2011 it was 45.6 million tons, in 2012 it was 43.4 million tons, in 2013 it was 43.5 million tons, in 2014 it was 42 million tons, in 2015 it was 41.6 million tons, in 2016 it was 41 million tons, in 2017 it was 38.7 million tons, in 2018 it was 38.8 million tons, in 2019 it was 37.4 million tons, in 2020 it was 34.5 million tons, in 2021 it was 34.6 million tons, in 2022 it was 32.6 million tons, in 2023 it was 30.1 million tons, in 2024 it was 29 million tons, in 2025 it was 27.7 million tons as shown.

In Azerbaijan's 2026 budget, one barrel of oil is taken at $65. "AzeriLight" branded oil started January at $65.71, February at $69.72, March at $79.60, April at $132.35, May at $122.26, and June at $104.58.

The international coalition of exporters has set Azerbaijan's daily crude oil production quota at 551 thousand barrels.

In the first five months of 2026, crude oil and crude oil products worth $5.1 billion were exported from the country.
