As a result of massive missile strikes by the Russian army on Ukraine's capital Kyiv, significant damage has been caused to civilian infrastructure, and there are destructions.
Medianews.az reports, referring to AZERTAC, that some of the missiles targeted the Shevchenko district where Azerbaijan's embassy in Ukraine is located. Some missiles fell 300 meters away from the embassy. The embassy's windows were shattered due to the air strikes.
As a result of the missile strikes near the embassy, the "Lukyanovka" market and the "Kvadrat" shopping center were completely destroyed by fire. Some residential buildings have also been damaged.
According to the statement of Kyiv city mayor Vitali Klitschko, at least two people were killed and more than 40 were injured as a result of the air strikes. 28 of the wounded have been hospitalized, three of whom are in serious condition.
It is not excluded that the number of dead and injured may change after the debris is cleared.
