According to the information from the Ministry of Energy dated December 16, the barrel of Azerbaijani oil under the "Azeri Light" brand is sold for $63.73. This price is $6.27 below the amount envisaged in the budget.
Medianews.az reports that in the state budget for 2025, the price of one barrel of oil was taken as $70, with "Azeri Light" starting January at $79, February at $78.52, March at $75.68, April at $78.29, May at $65.13, June at $68.82, July at $72.01, August at $72.70, September at $70.54, October at $69.86, November at $65.87, and December at $66.22.
The state budget for 2026 is based on an average annual export price of $65 per barrel of oil.
