Medianews.az reports that this price is $14.6 higher than what was envisaged in the budget.

In the 2026 state budget, a barrel of oil is taken at $65, with "AzeriLight" starting at $65.71 in January and $69.72 in February.

The international coalition of exporters has set the daily crude oil production quota for Azerbaijan at 551 thousand barrels.

Including condensate, oil production was 50.8 million tons in 2010, 50.4 million tons in 2009, 45.6 million tons in 2011, 44.5 million tons in 2008, 43.5 million tons in 2013, 43.4 million tons in 2012, 42 million tons in 2014, 41.6 million tons in 2015, 41 million tons in 2016, 38.8 million tons in 2018, 38.7 million tons in 2017, 37.4 million tons in 2019, 34.6 million tons in 2021, 34.5 million tons in 2020, 32.6 million tons in 2022, 30.2 million tons in 2023, 29.1 million tons in 2024, 27.7 million tons in 2025, and 2.3 million tons in January 2026.

In the 21st century, the lowest price of "AzeriLight" oil was recorded on April 21, 2020 ($15.81), and the highest price was recorded in July 2008 ($149.66).
