The Media Development Agency (MEDIA) highly appreciated the activity of Azerbaijani media within the framework of the 13th session of the UN World Urban Forum – WUF13.
Medianews.az reports that this was stated by the Deputy Executive Director of MEDIA, Natiq Mammadli, in his statement to journalists.
He noted that one of the main venues during the forum period where the most active and dynamic discussions were held was the newsrooms. According to Natiq Mammadli, Azerbaijani media successfully continued the professional activity it demonstrated during COP29 at WUF13 as well:
“Both for the local and international audience, Azerbaijani media acted as a reliable source of information in delivering important messages related to the forum.”
The MEDIA official emphasized that Azerbaijani media has gained serious and unique experience in recent years in covering international events. He believes that this experience will contribute significantly to further enhancing the professional level of journalists in the future.
Natiq Mammadli specially noted the intensive activity observed in the newsrooms and expressed his gratitude to the journalists:
“As it was at COP29, Azerbaijani media fulfilled its professional mission at a high level within the framework of WUF13 as well.”
