The population of Azerbaijan has been announced.
According to the information provided to Medianews.az by the State Statistical Committee (SSC), the country's population increased by 1689 people or 0.02 percent since the beginning of the year, reaching 10,264,040 as of February 1, 2026.
54.3 percent of the country's population are urban residents, 45.7 percent are rural residents, 49.8 percent are men, and 50.2 percent are women.
