In January-September, 95 billion 229.2 million manat worth of gross domestic product (GDP) was produced in Azerbaijan, which is 1.3 percent more compared to the same period of 2024. The report released by the State Statistics Committee states that there was a 1.9 percent decrease in the oil and gas sector, a 2.9 percent increase in the non-oil/gas sector, and GDP per capita amounted to 9300.3 manat.

Medianews.az notes that in 2011, GDP in Azerbaijan increased by 0.1 percent, in 2017 by 0.2 percent, in 2015 by 1.1 percent, in 1996 by 1.3 percent, in 2023 by 1.4 percent, in 2018 by 1.5 percent, in 2012 by 2.2 percent, in 2019 by 2.5 percent, and in 2014 by 2.8 percent.

The year 2024 ended with a 4.1 percent increase, 2022 with 4.7 percent, 2010 with 5 percent, 2021 with 5.6 percent, 1997 and 2013 with 5.8 percent, 1999 with 7.4 percent, 2009 with 9.3 percent, and 2001 with 9.9 percent growth.

In 1998 there was a 10 percent increase, in 2004 a 10.2 percent increase, in 2002 a 10.6 percent increase, in 2008 a 10.8 percent increase, in 2000 an 11.1 percent increase, in 2003 an 11.2 percent increase, in 2007 a 25 percent increase, in 2005 a 26.4 percent increase, and in 2006 a 34.5 percent increase was recorded.

It was announced that GDP decreased by 11.8 percent in 1995, by 4.2 percent in 2020, and by 3.1 percent in 2016.
