The US struck Isfahan with cluster bombs – Trump shared images

US President Donald Trump shared footage of airstrikes carried out on the Iranian city of Isfahan on his social media account.

Medianews.az, citing foreign media, reports that multiple bunker-buster bombs, each weighing approximately 907 kilograms, were used during the operation. The shared footage shows consecutive powerful explosions in Isfahan – in areas considered strategic in terms of military and nuclear infrastructure.

Trump did not disclose the exact time and coordinates of the attack. However, reports indicate that the footage relates to strikes carried out in the morning hours.

A US official stated that a large Iranian ammunition depot was destroyed during the strike. Although Iranian media confirmed hearing explosion sounds in Isfahan in the morning hours, no additional details have been revealed. Official Tehran has not yet issued a statement regarding the incident.

According to other sources, Iran is alleged to have targeted an oil-laden tanker near the coast of the United Arab Emirates. This incident is regarded as a continuation of recent attacks against commercial vessels around the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Chief of Staff Dan Quayle are expected to hold a press conference on the matter in the near future.

Additionally, it is reported that Trump is considering an option to stop the conflict without reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Experts note that this move could increase Iran’s influence in the region and deepen global economic tensions.
