The US will not renew the permission for the sale of Russian oil following Iran's blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
Medianews.az reports that this was stated by US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
He stated that Washington will also toughen its position regarding Iranian oil:
"The US hopes that China will stop buying Iranian oil. Two Chinese banks have already received a warning about this."
