According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the crash occurred at Bangor Airport in the state of Maine. The "Bombardier Challenger 650" business jet crashed during flight in adverse weather conditions. There were eight people on board the plane. Their fate is still unknown.
Bangor Airport is currently closed.
