The application acceptance for higher education institutions (11-year) and secondary specialized education institutions based on general (9-year) secondary education, which started on February 18, 2026, ends today.
Medianews.az, citing the State Examination Center, reports that both current and previous years' graduates can participate in the application process.
Currently, a total of 129,186 people have registered for admission to universities and colleges.
Out of these, 125,775 people have registered for universities, and 116,685 people for colleges.
For your information, the number of participants joining the competition based on the results of the first stage of the 2025 graduation or test exams is 2,734, the number of applicants who received an "acceptable" grade in the "Azerbaijani language (as the state language)" test exam in 2025 and were admitted to the competition this year without participating in this exam is 1,138.
It should be noted that applicants who must confirm their applications at the Document Acceptance Commissions should approach the respective commission by 17:00 today.
