Images of the State Flag Square in Baku have been shared on the "Pubity" page, which has millions of followers.
According to Milli.Az, the video provides information about the history and technical characteristics of the flagpole and emphasizes that it is taller than a 50-story building.
Constructed in 2010, the 162-meter pole was once included in the "Guinness World Records" as the tallest flagpole in the world. The flag measures 70x35 meters and weighs approximately 350 kilograms.
Although the record was later surpassed by Saudi Arabia and Egypt, after reconstruction carried out in 2024, the pole was raised to approximately 191 meters and, with a 36x72 meter flag, it once again became among the world leaders.
