By 2030, 3 billion people will need access to housing.
Medianews.az reports that this was stated by Antonio Campagnoli, president of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), during his speech at the Business Assembly held within the framework of the 13th Session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13).
He emphasized the importance of creating adequate living spaces.
"Taking climate change into account in providing adequate housing is very important. Building more housing should not be the primary responsibility of countries and governments. It is crucial that this process is carried out with consideration of planning, access to services, and the impacts of climate change. By 2030, 3 billion people will exert pressure on governments, cities, markets, and institutions, demanding access to safe, affordable, and climate-resilient housing," added the president of FIABCI.
