The 15-year-old member of the Oxford United football club academy, Amelia Apple, tragic death has been announced.
Medianews.az, citing Axar.az, reports that the incident occurred at the club's Horspath training center during a match between the girls' academy teams of Oxford and Fulham.
The young goalkeeper suddenly collapsed during the game. Despite the intervention of the medical staff of both clubs and the emergency services called to the scene, it was not possible to save Amelia's life after she was taken to the hospital.
