The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, extended condolences to the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Turkey, Yaşar Güler, and to His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hasen Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and State Minister for Defense Affairs of Qatar.

"I was deeply saddened by the news that a helicopter belonging to the Qatari Armed Forces, conducting a training flight within the framework of the Qatar-Turkey Joint Combined Forces Command, crashed into the sea due to technical malfunction, resulting in the death of one military serviceman of the Turkish Armed Forces, two technical staff of ASELSAN company, and four military servicemen of the Qatari Armed Forces as a result of the accident.
I pray to God for mercy for those who lost their lives, share the grief of their relatives, and offer my deepest condolences to their families with great sorrow.
May God have mercy," the condolences stated.
