During the January-May period of this year, 19.4 thousand people were assigned disability by the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

It was stated that among them, 8.6 thousand people were assigned initial disability, and 10.8 thousand people were assigned repeat disability.
The assessment of disability is carried out through an electronic system, based on the information in the referrals entered into the e-system by the healthcare institution.
After the disability is assigned, social payments for the disability are proactively assigned through the e-system.
