President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on making amendments to the normative-legal acts related to the activities of the Foreign Intelligence Service.
Medianews.az reports that, based on the decree, the following documents have been amended and approved:
Changes have been made to the "Limit of the number of military personnel of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan maintained at the expense of the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the number of employees hired into the system of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan," approved by the Decree No. 725 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated January 13, 2016.
Amendments have been approved to the "Regulation on the adjustment of the monetary provision of certain military personnel of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan," approved by the Decree No. 1764 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 26, 2022.
The decree also states that the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been assigned to resolve the issues arising from this document.
