The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Armenia has officially announced the final results of the parliamentary elections held in the country.
Medianews.az reports that the ruling "Civil Contract" Party is leading with 49.7456% of the votes.
In the list, "Strong Armenia" is second with 23.2710% of the votes, while the "Armenia Alliance" is third with 9.9231%. The "Blossoming Armenia" Party received 3.9893% of the votes, failing to pass the 4% threshold and will not be represented in the parliament. Voter turnout was 1,476,769 people or 58.9%.
Thus, the government led by Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's "Civil Contract" Party will be formed alone.
Recall that on June 7, parliamentary elections were held in Armenia. Before counting 100% of the ballots, the "Civil Contract" Party collected 49.83% of the votes.
