The court process regarding the cassation appeal against the verdict on Pərviz Həsənov, accused of murdering stylist Orxan Seyidov in Baku, has concluded.
Medianews.az reports, citing Pravda.az, that the decision was announced at the Supreme Court session chaired by judge İlqar Cəfərov, and the appeal was denied.
According to the accusation, the incident was recorded in March of last year in the Xətai district of the capital.
Orxan Seyidov, born in 1988, was killed by Pərviz Həsənov, born in 1999, by inflicting multiple stab wounds during a conflict arising from personal relations.
The investigation body charged Pərviz Həsənov under Article 120.2.4 (murder with special cruelty or by a generally dangerous method) of the Criminal Code.
According to the verdict of the Baku Serious Crimes Court, Pərviz Həsənov was sentenced to 17 years of imprisonment.
News circulated on social media reported that the late Orxan Seyidov worked as a stylist.
