We sent an inquiry to the Absheron-Khizi Regional Education Department regarding the matter.
The institution responded to our inquiry stating that an investigation is being conducted regarding the incident:
"Information has been circulated on social networks about inappropriate behavior of a teacher towards a student at Saray settlement No. 1 complete secondary school.
During the initial investigation, it was determined that the teacher violated the 'Code of Ethical Conduct for Educators.' Therefore, a disciplinary sanction has been applied against them. Law enforcement agencies are conducting an investigation into the incident."
The information noted that, in general education institutions, alongside the educational process, the safety of students and adherence to internal discipline rules are constantly monitored and necessary measures are taken in this regard. (Qafqazinfo)
